Mie and Prince arrived safely in Okinawa, and Elijah is off to college. He is attending Tokyo International University.
Our team is running Heaven’s Cafe. We made the jump into full-time ministry, which means that we are walking by faith and are no longer taking a salary from Heaven’s Cafe. In fact, we started doing this in May, and God has provided for us each month. God even provides for things we don’t see coming.
We have a new home Church. Yomitan international Church yicasia.org
Lead Pastor Daniel Kennedy, Apostle Glenn, Pastor Sue and Yic’s leadership have provided for all our needs during our ministry transition into Okinawa. Words can’t describe how grateful we are for their generosity. Next month we will be commissioned into YIC, more on that in our next ministry update.
For the past four months in Okinawa we have been establishing community with the body of Christ, youth pastors, worship leaders, local churches, home churches, christian cafes, YWAM, and mission organizations with a primary focus to unify the body of Christ and bring the Gospel to non-believers. LET’S BRING THEM JESUS!
Before coming to Japan Devon had several reoccurring dreams about new Japanese believers sharing the gospel in Japan and bringing Japanese teams throughout the world. In addition to Devon and Mie being part of the Empowering Japan team, Devon is also part of Empowering Global team. Both Ministries have monthly online team meetings, and monthly Zoom video conferences. We discuss Kingdom identity, the gifts and power of Holy Spirit, and evangelism. During the end of each conference, we like to take prayer requests and minister to people in healing and the prophetic.
If you feel led to pray or financially sow into our ministry here in Okinawa, Japan we are currently raising funds for our housing and expenses for a car. We thank all of our current supporters and for your consideration in sowing into the Great Commission in Japan. https:winloveministries.com/partnerships/
