The purpose of our Business & Training Centers is to create places where ministry and business can take place alongside each other. These centers offer something for everyone in the community. It’s a place where people can conduct business, grab a bite to eat, see and purchase handcrafted products from across the world and attend a training on a wide range of topics. These centers provide sustainable businesses that provide a safe place to share the Gospel, house missionaries, equip the body of Christ using creative relatable methods. Our community service provides food for the under privileged, and hosts community events.
Marketplace Ministry, Business as Mission & Community Services
Creating a unique place where business and ministry come together.
These are strategic businesses that God uses as a bridge to our community. We started our first cafe, called Heaven’s Café, in August 2018. We have been able to use the restaurant as a base for a community church and since opening we have seen salvations, healings, baptisms and so much more! Our goal is to provide a fun environment where residents and missionaries use their gifts to serve the community as a volunteer or a possible work opportunity.
Because of the high population in Japan, space is at a premium and costly. Apartments are small and places where businessmen and women work outside a traditional office are few. In the US people may find a local coffee shop and have the luxury of sitting for several hours; that option isn’t always available in more densely populated areas. Since the early 2000s the shared workspace concept has been around in Japan, but has become increasingly more popular over the past couple of years. It is our vision to capitalize on this market by providing space where businesses can have meetings and lease workspace.
Training & Equipping
One of the main aspects of our mission is to train and equip believers. Through these centers we offer The Alpha Course, discipleship training, school of worship, healing and prophetic ministry, conferences and more. In addition, our desire is to use the training arm of the center to reach the community. We’ve hosting classes for ESL, cooking, overcoming depression, marriage group counseling, business training and more. Our goal through these classes is to be able to share Kingdom principles and build relationships with people in the community.
Since accommodations can be expensive in densely populated areas, we offer affordable options to missionaries, church leaders, and traveling businessmen/women using our facilities.
We partner with ministries that focus on teaching widows and orphans a skill or craft in order to help them create income for themselves. We want to support these communities and ministries by selling their items. In our International Marketplace people will be able to purchase things from all over the world and by doing so giving back to people in need.
